Hi, I'm Luke, the owner of Woofwise K9.
Dogs, and pets in general, have been a huge part of my life, and caring for them has always been a passion of mine. After spending several years working as a healthcare professional in the NHS, I decided to pursue a career doing something I love.
I have big aspirations for Woofwise K9 and the services I hope to offer in the future. This is just the beginning, and I invite you to join me on this exciting journey. 🐾
What I Bring
I aim to provide safe, reliable and compassionate care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I believe great pet care is about building trust, encouraging confidence and creating positive experiences that support overall wellbeing. My goal is to help pets feel happy and comfortable while giving owners complete peace of mind.
Safe & Secure Pet Transport
My dedicated pet transport van has been professionally fitted with your pet's safety and comfort in mind. Every pet travels in an individual, secure crate, and each journey is carefully planned to minimise travel time and provide a safe, comfortable and stress-free experience.
My Expertise
I have over 10 years' experience caring for animals, including 5 years' volunteering as a dog walker with The Cinnamon Trust. I'm fully insured, DBS checked and canine first aid certified, ensuring every pet receives safe, professional care.
I'm currently working towards a Level 3 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour & Wellbeing, and plan to expand Woofwise K9’s services to include canine dental hygiene, dog training and behavioural support in the future.
My side-kick
At the heart of the logo is Leo, my 12 month Miniature Poodle, whose friendly nature and love of learning inspired the Woofwise K9 brand. Training with Leo, including attending weekly Kennel Club Good Citizen classes and achieving his Bronze Award (see photo), has strengthened my understanding of canine behaviour and reinforced my belief that every dog can thrive through patient, consistent, reward-based training.
